You can assign functions to the "FUNC button" or change the setting of AE/AF lock button.
FUNC

Assign functions to the "FUNC button."

Complete setting adjustment simply by pressing the "FUNC" button and rotating the command dial.
* In P, S, A and M modes.

AE-L/AF-L

By default, both focus and exposure are locked when AE/AF lock button is pressed.

If desired, the button can be set to lock only one of focus and exposure.
Option Description
AE-L AE/AF lock button locks exposure only.
Focus locks when shutter-release button is pressed halfway.

AF-L

 AE/AF lock button locks focus only.
Exposure locks when shutter-release button is pressed halfway.
